Illustration depicting the power of art therapy. A women lost in her thoughts and the weight it brings. She is stuck so she begins to follow music as she draws one single line, following the ups and downs of the music. Soon enough her mind is clear.

“It’s hard to be seen when half of who you are lies below the surface. Trauma, chronic pain, and disease live within me, but no one knows. No one knows when the pain has its own heartbeat or when I am having dizziness due to my Epilepsy and my vision begins to blur. No one knows the trauma I have been through and how sometimes the emotional pain is so great that it feels as if the cells in my body are suffocating.”
